Dementia and Alzheimer’s are perhaps the two most dreaded diseases associated with aging in our society. It has been estimated that half the people in this country who reach the age or 80 or older will be afflicted with one or both of these diseases.
In most cases, Dementia and/or Alzheimer’s are the result of a disease such as Huntington’s or Parkinson’s, faulty or inappropriate medication, recreational drug use, heavy metals in the brain, or heredity. But I have recently discovered that in some cases demonic harassment can be a factor.
I have had occasion to address this for two women thus far. One was suffering from both Alzheimer’s and Dementia. The other was in the early stages of Dementia. The first was in her late eighties. The second had just celebrated her 90th birthday. Both were Christians, and neither had ever dabbled in the Occult.
In both cases, there were ancestral spirits of Dementia, Alzheimer’s, Short Term Memory Loss, and Confusion. In both cases there were also demonic spirits who had claimed possession of the portions of the brain associated with (1) Intelligence, Judgment and Behavior (2) Memory, and (3) Language. In addition, in each case there were ancestral spirits linked to Dementia and Alzheimers who were depleting and/or interfering with assimilation of Vitamin E, Vitamin B12, Vitamin B6, Folate, and Iron.
For the woman with Alzheimer’s, casting away the spirits in Jesus’ name that had caused it appeared to have little effect. Apparently too much brain damage had already been done. For the woman with early Dementia, cast aways resulted in a significant improvement.
If you, a parent, or grandparent are experiencing the initial stages of Dementia and/or Alzheimer’s, it would be worth your while to address whether there are spirits of Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Memory Loss, and Confusion that have been passed on to you. In the event that you discover there are, I would advise also addressing possession of the parts of the brain associated with Intelligence, Judgment, Behavior, Memory and Language, and spirits who are depleting or interfering with assimilation of Vitamins E, B6, B12, Folate, and Iron.

While it’s entirely possible (even probable) that demonic spirits are involved with keeping your husband addicted to porn, it’s doubtful that they’ve taken over his brain. There would be spirit groups who’ve come into his life as a result of the porn he’d already watched, and they would want to keep him addicted. There may also be alternate spirit personalities and facades that fuel his interest in porn. The fact that he has Alzheimer’s makes things a bit more complicated. Unfortunately, given his mental condition, it’s not likely that you’ll be able to convince him to give it up. If you’re a Christian who has no links to the occult or any church of false doctrine, you could try doing a binding in Jesus’ name against spirits fueling his addiction.
I agree 100% about demonic possesion in Alz. My husband of 40 years has been addicted to porn for 35 years. While the whole time he was going to church with me and teaching Sunday school. I recently found out that he was still doing this. I had separated from him and was not going back to him…until his boss called me one day and said I needed to take him to a Dr. I did, and they diagnosed him with alz.. I had no choice but to go back home and take care of him. I did NOT want to .I have no feelings for him but pure disgust! I was only home with him for 1 week and caught him watching porn videos…later found porn magazines and dvd’s. Got sick to my stomach…I still cannot leave because there is absolutely NO ONE to care for him.I threw all the filthy stuff away but I still catch him upat night hiding in he bathroom…you what!!! I ask the dr if he thought it was the alz making him do those things and he said NO.. The Dr said if it was alz, he wouldn’t be hiding…he would do it in front of people…made sense to me. Demons…have taken over his brain !!!!!!
Let’s deal with this differently:
Jesus’ story about the importune widow and the unjust judge tells us something different about our interaction between our “adversary” and our Heavenly Judge, our Heavenly Father. Notice in that story, that the widow didn’t rebuke her adversary. There wasn’t even a face-off in the courtroom. She went up to the unjust judge and demanded that he give her justice from her adversary. The unjust judge didn’t regard nor fear man nor God, but Jesus was telling us, through this story, that our just and loving God, the Judge of all creation, WOULD give us justice “speedily,” when we implore him as this widow did the unjust judge.
In your case, enter into the courts of heaven. Go straight to your Heavenly Father. Implore Him for justice from this situation with your adversary. Enter into the intercessions of your Lord Jesus (who intercedes for us without ceasing). Ask HIM, “Lord Jesus, what are YOU interceding for my husband?” Then, intercede in like manner. Only engage the enemy IF THE LORD PROMPTS OR COMMANDS YOU TO DO SO DIRECTLY! You can RESIST him, but do not engage him if you have no leading from the Holy Spirit to do so. If you engage your adversary without going first to your Heavenly Judge and asking for justice for this situation, you will be opening yourself and the one you are praying for to further attacks. Why? It’s a LEGAL issue FIRST, then a spiritual issue. Take care of the legal issue first and then the Lord will give you the spiritual authority to overcome. Go to HIM FIRST, receive HIS victory in the courts of heaven, and then He will give you the land to occupy.

The Bible tells us to pray to God the Father, and to do this in Jesus’ name. We are not supposed to pray directly to Jesus.
And I never confront the enemy without the aid of God and the Holy Spirit.
I totally agree, Satan is behind every attack and troubled situation in our lives. God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, love and a SOUND MIND!
This brings an interesting thought to me. My mother is going on 60, 4 years ago, she “Snapped” over a course of basically an hour and from what the doctors say skipped dementia and went into full blown Alzheimers, where they never seen it happen “That fast”, they tested for multiple things. And said “everything looks good” perhaps I should look into it with a religious standpoint.
Demonic spirits are fallen angels who have extraordinary powers. They know the symptoms of every human disease and how those symptoms affect us. This would be a very unusual case, but not impossible where fallen angels are concerned, especially if Satan was involved.
